‘Whopper Lust’ Burger King - CP+B
Want to win a free burger? Love staring contests? HAVE I GOT THE AD FOR YOU!
Seriously, this is an actual interactive TV campaign the brilliant people at CP+B have come up with, showing that even as their relationship with the King comes to the end, they’re still willing to do great work before the contract is up.
Stare at the Whopper for 5 minutes and you’ll be prompted to press an arrow on your remote. Or, go double or nothing by staring at the Whopper for 10 minutes. 15 minutes = 3 Whoppers redeemable by coupons that Burger King mails to your house. So far 50,000 Whooper coupons have been sent out, although most have not yet been redeemed.
I don’t think I’d be able to watch the Whopper for 15 minutes without sobbing uncontrollably over the loss of such a perfect advertising union. I haven’t felt this way since Brad & Jen broke up… But hey, here’s hoping CP+B find their Angelina soon. Can you imagine the creative rainbow tribe of greatness that would ensue?! But I digress…

pictures of stage prompter progress throughout the project.so here’s an update jerkface. i’ve been a bit busy around the house lately, spent most of this week working outside on the yard getting things ready for an open house this Sunday. If you would like to walk through our house it will be open from 12p-4p. If you know anyone that’s looking for a new place to call home send them on over.
Last week was spent on stuff, Milwaukee on Saturday (short gig log coming soon) and a relaxing cold day inside for Sunday. I have a hurty back right now and some stabbing/aching pain in my leg. You should feel the knot. Does anyone want to feel my leg? Probably not. It started Tuesday and has gotten worse - but it’s my own fault. Monday - Golf, Tuesday - shovel and move a yard of black dirt up a hill, Wednesday - Shovel and move a yard of mulch and big rocks. Thursday = I deserve the pain. I was hoping to make the trip down to Indy with Emisis Friday night but I don’t think that will happen now. I’m going to be behind on getting things ready for Sunday now that I have to take it easy. I still have an outdoor outlet to pull wire for and a garage that is in desperate need of cleaning. We’ll see how I’m feeling later but for now….. I’m out.
